Pat Sandland foreman at ULP for over 8 years has dedicated his personal time to mentoring disadvantaged kids from various backgrounds through a program called “Mentoring Through Street Art” run by AIME.
Aimed at ending educational inequality for Indigenous kids the program held throughout Western Sydney is attended by kids from surrounding schools, where Pat teaches techniques in spray paint and street art. The session begins with a group brainstorm where a design for a mural is founded, drawn on canvas and brought to life with spray paint.
Fun, cooperation and inclusiveness through creativity are the essential elements to a successful day!ULP is proud to promote Pat’s passion and contribution to this fantastic cause. We look forward to his future involvement with mentoring disadvantaged kids…Well done Pat!
