As an inner city school, Stanmore is lucky to have plenty of wide-open spaces. To complement this it needed some more complex natural intuitive areas for the development of balance, cooperation and imagination.
ULP were contacted to complete a design and subsequently build a series of stages of the School Masterplan. Now Stanmore Public School children can exercise their minds as well as their bodies in the playground!
The School Masterplanning process identified a number of key areas throughout the School of most importance to the Students. The School community watched their plans come to life with significant improvements throughout the School that dramatically improved the usability and play value of their extensive grounds. The result is a series of interconnected spaces that create a cohesive sense of identity for the School.
