This learning area creates a series of outdoor multi use spaces with boundless opportunities for learning and social interaction.

The main learning corridor is divided into a series of zones, each offering different scale, size and feel. These can be used for informal activities, formal presentations or group activities in collaborative learning areas. They can also be utilised as passive play and hangout zones during recess and lunch times.

The watering hole is a centrally located zone for hanging out, sharing ideas, group discussion and collaborative learning in large or small groups. It sits approximately 20 to 25 students.

The cave sits at the back, obscured by the garden. This space offers a sheltered feel that sits fewer people and allows small group round table discussions. It sits approximately 20 to 25 students.

The campfire is the formal presentation space, set out much like a traditional classroom. It offers a space for formal student presentations and listening to an expert. It sits approximately 18 to 20 students.
