Established garden and timber fencing through the grounds at Bridge Road School

The design and construction process was highly collaborative, involving teaching staff, carers, and the wider school community, as well as capturing student voice through a junior design workshop. This process provided first-hand insight into how students currently used the space, what they enjoyed, and what changes would make it more inviting and functional.

The outdoor environment is safe, supportive, and adaptable, providing a place where students can play, learn, and regulate in ways that met their individual needs.
