A calm, social outdoor environment designed to encourage strategic thinking, problem-solving and meaningful student interaction within the school landscape. Chess Club combines a giant outdoor chess board, tabletop chess setting, integrated seating, secure storage and surrounding gardens to create a welcoming space for quiet play, lunchtime activity and collaborative learning.
Designed as both a recreation space and outdoor learning environment, it encourages students to build concentration, critical thinking and social confidence through friendly competition and everyday connection. Integrated landscape design and natural planting create a comfortable setting that supports student wellbeing while adding a unique destination to the broader school campus.
