The Station, a Playform play environment

The Station is an elevated natural playspace inspired by the idea of a central gathering place within the Australian landscape. Combining interconnected timber platforms, climbing nets, rope bridges, elevated walkways and twin slides, it encourages children to climb, explore, balance and create their own adventures through active, self-directed play. Designed to integrate seamlessly into school playgrounds and community open spaces, The Station creates a distinctive destination that encourages movement, exploration and meaningful outdoor play.

The Station supports gross motor, risk taking development, coordination, confidence and social connection through a diverse range of climbing and traversal experiences. Constructed from durable natural materials, it provides a highly engaging outdoor environment where children can challenge themselves, build resilience and return again and again to discover new ways to play, making it an enduring feature within any natural playspace or school playground.
