A nature-based play environment designed as a central destination for movement, balance and social interaction within the landscape. Framed by timber climbing structures, rope traverses, boulders and informal seating, Play Island encourages children to climb, explore and navigate through a series of connected challenges at their own pace. Integrated planting and established shade trees soften the space and create a strong connection to the surrounding environment, while the open, island-like layout supports free movement, imaginative play and everyday gathering.
