Ajuga School

Purple shade sail over the sandstone paving and planting at Ajuga School

The highly collaborative design and construction process involved students, teaching staff and carers through a junior design workshop. This process provided first-hand insight into how students wanted to use the space and what design elements would support the particular needs of the students.

The outdoor environment is safe, supportive, and adaptable, providing a place where students can play, learn, and regulate in ways that met their needs.
