Project summary:
The outdoor space wraps around the low slung lines of the architecture, dividing the area into distinctive play zones reflecting the internal layout.
A wide range of activities have been designed to function within the confines of this space. A large interactive waterplay zone with time sequencing water jets connects with a meandering creek bed and sand pit, an expanse of turf creates an active play zone, a gross motor climbing area provides an outlet for boisterous play and a Sustailable Learning area contains composting worm farms, raised wicking beds, native bees and a number of STEM teaching aids.
