Project summary:
The architecture left a segmented footprint of outdoor space. there were large existing trees onsite to be trained, including protection of extensive root systems. These issues created challenges and also provided opportunities. The site access was limited via a relatively steep and narrow slope. Construction access was to be shared with the builders, so appropriate materials selection was required.
