Elevated timber pods connected by rope bridges and climbing elements, set as a continuous journey through the treetops. Hardwood vertical slat walls give each tower a sense of enclosure and discovery, while openings and lookout points keep the connection to the surrounding trees. Children move between platforms by nets, ladders and bridges, building strength, coordination and confidence as they navigate at height.

At Roseville College the towers are one part of a wider environment. A sandstone-stepped courtyard below holds sand play, a mud kitchen and a hand pump, and a gross motor circuit of beams, stepping platforms and a rope bridge runs across the lawn beside a bouldering wall. Timber decks step down through raised planters and productive garden beds, connecting the play areas to the classrooms.

The result is one continuous landscape of climbing, water, sand, movement and growing rather than a set of separate installations.
