With a newly renovated and beautifully appointed centre, the manager Kath Jones now wanted a space that was outdoors, “like a garden”, to help young clients relax during counselling.
“The Hangout” was born. A rustic, open, forward facing lean-to in a non-institutional natural setting, that helps clients to relax, and gives them control over their environment in a number of ways:
- Choice to sit in a hanging basket that allows swinging & movement during conversation;
- Choice of bench seating that is facing, or beside the counsellor, or a movable box seat;
- You can even carve your name into the soft wall timbers.
“The Hangout” can make a positive contribution to the healing and well being of all who use it.
“Hi Michael, the ‘hang-out’ was installed today and it is absolutely wonderful!! Again, can’t thank you enough for your generosity and expertise! We are delighted!”
