The XL STEM Sustainable Learning Area (SLA) expands on the core STEM SLA concept with a larger teaching pergola, increased seating capacity, extensive productive gardens and a broader range of hands-on environmental learning opportunities. Designed to support whole-class learning, collaborative projects and everyday outdoor teaching, the space integrates productive gardens, composting and worm farming systems, habitat planting, weather and measurement tools, and interactive scientific learning elements within a flexible outdoor classroom setting.
