A flagship outdoor learning environment that combines sustainability education, STEM exploration and large-scale outdoor teaching within one immersive landscape. The XL STEM Sustainable Learning Area expands on the core STEM SLA concept with a larger teaching pergola, increased seating capacity, extensive productive gardens and a broader range of hands-on environmental learning opportunities.

Designed to support whole-class learning, collaborative projects and everyday outdoor teaching, the space integrates productive gardens, composting and worm farming systems, habitat planting, weather and measurement tools, and interactive scientific learning elements within a flexible outdoor classroom setting. The result is a highly functional educational landscape that encourages observation, experimentation, creativity and environmental stewardship through direct engagement with living systems.
