A run of timber beams, sloping rails and low platforms that children cross without touching the ground. The circuit builds balance, coordination and confidence, and because there is more than one way through it, children set their own level of challenge and keep returning to it as they improve.

Talk forts

Timber forts that work as play bases and social hangout zones, set apart across the yard and linked by talk tubes so children can speak between the spaces. The forts give a group somewhere of their own to claim, and the tubes turn the distance between them into part of the game.

The Sensory Station Sprouts is a thoughtfully designed sensory playspace that encourages curiosity, creativity, and hands-on discovery through a variety of interactive play experiences.

Featuring opportunities for sound exploration, loose parts play, and open-ended creative experiences, the playspace supports children’s confidence, communication skills, and ability to engage in collaborative play.

Designed to provide a calm, inclusive, and engaging environment, the Sensory Station encourages children to explore at their own pace, investigate new ideas, and connect with others through meaningful self-directed play experiences.

Balance Challenge

A dynamic outdoor challenge space designed to encourage active movement, physical exploration and the development of gross motor skills. Through a connected sequence of movement-based challenges, children are encouraged to climb, balance, traverse and navigate their way through the space at their own pace, supporting coordination, strength, agility and overall physical confidence.

Designed for primary school-aged children, the space promotes continuous active play while encouraging children to test their abilities, develop resilience and build confidence through achievable physical challenges. The varied play opportunities also support social interaction, cooperative play and friendly challenges, creating an engaging environment that encourages children to stay active, explore movement and develop important physical skills through play.
